About Me
I’ve always been the creative sort: The kid who doodled in their notebooks and wrote stories instead of working on that essay due tomorrow. As a kid, I would rather draw than play and as an adult, not much has changed. I feel at ease when my creative gears are turning, whether it’s brainstorming new ideas for my team in my office job or working on creating a new branding campaign for school.
I’ve never made life easy for myself. My adult education has been funded by yours truly, working full-time while bulking up on 15 credit hours a semester. Still, I’ve managed to not only make it through two bachelor’s degrees, but I also managed to thrive in school with president’s awards and honor society recognitions under my belt.
When I truly love something, I put my heart and soul into it. Since returning to school, I have lived and breathed advertising and communications. I work on crafting copy for school, and then create branding guides for fun. I have never felt more in my element than I do working on a campaign for school and I cannot wait to dip my toes into the fast-paced world of advertising and communications.
In my free time, I enjoy graphic design, travel, language learning, and spending time with my husband, dog, and cat. I’m a puzzle fanatic and love a good hike when visiting family in Taiwan. My close friends would say I’m loyal, honest, and a hard worker. I like to think I’m all of those things too.
